Message for International Day for Universal Access to Information 2023
Every year September 28 is observed as International Day for Universal Access to Information (IDUAI). This year, the International Day for Universal Access to Information will focus on “the importance of the online space for Access to Information.”
The 2023 UNESCO theme for International Access to Information Day is focused on the significance of access to information legislation and implementations, the role of media and information literacy, and open access. Access to information plays an important role in development, democracy, and equality. Therefore, in order to create inclusive institutions all across the world, the Access to Information laws should be strengthened and carefully implemented.

It is our core of our work to ensure we promoting and upholding information access rights, including helping the community understand their rights.
