Meeting with the Seychelles Human Rights Commission

The Seychelles Information Commission, represented by Ms. Thereza Dogley, Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Mumtaz Hasan, Chief Information Commissioner, Mr. Antonio Lucas, and Mr. Desire Payet, Information Commissioners, met with Mr. Elvis Julie, Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Nichole Larsen, Monitoring Officer, and also the appointed Information Officer and Ms. Gina Come, Communication Officer of the Seychelles Human Rights Commission. The meeting took place on September 28th at the Seychelles Human Rights Commission Office to coincide with the International Day for Universal Access to Information 2023.

The goal of the meeting was to enhance and expand communication and cooperation, as both Commissions pursued similar mandates. It is also an important step toward expanding opportunities and strengthening the relationship between the Information Commission and the Seychelles Human Rights Commission.

The Information Commission and the Seychelles Human Rights Commission look forward to continuing to work together and remain committed to strengthening the existing relationship between both institutions in the future.
